^Nice bob! But I can't tell what kind of bike that is. I'm only a beginner when it comes to cycling...

bob. 04-17-2012 05:45 PM

its a Ron Cooper :)

basically its a hand welded custom made bike by an reclusive bike builder from Leeds England....one of a kind....honestly that's about all i know about him

i picked it up in a little shop up in Seattle by chance.....some kid was gonna buy it and turn it into a "fixie"....which in my opinion would a a sin :)

NSW 04-17-2012 05:47 PM

Ha, no doubt! Sounds like you got a real gem. My dad would probably have known what bike that was right away....he's the real cyclist in the family. I just let him drag me along to all the rides. :)

I figured it was just because you had the hots for a 14-year old girl with auburn hair.

Oh yeah, that too. Plus they all call me The Hound at school. It's totally affectionate.

I'm pulling a Holly. Sorry.

It may not. It's an over-the-top sales pitch for a Magus Organ, and I'm sure that the Radio Drama organ used on the recording was certainly not the type they were selling (I think I had one of those as a kid). I kind of like it as a curio as an example of the art of selling/hyping, though.

Screen13 04-18-2012 04:49 PM

Maybe this would help.

I'm from SE MI, listen to a lot of Garage Punk, Punk, dark Underground music (Gothic, some Industrial, and more Experimental stuff) and some Prog with some time for the lighter stuff (I relax with the best of British Pop and Power Pop), went to a lot of Punk shows in the 80's, and can be called the best kind of serious person. Not too much of a laughing boy, but I will stick up for my friends and tell the truth or an honest opinion. Never was that much good at lying, really, and sometimes when I try to pose in front of a cheap webcam that usually lets me down I can get a little too serious trying to get a good picture.

I also play music, and I finally got a nice practice amp that has something for the headphones so I can practice without anyone hearing. I usually set it on Overdrive-Distortion for my guitar. (Once a Garage Punk, always a Garage Punk, I guess.) I also play keyboards, set usually on Organ, although I'm certainly no Keith Emerson. I at least set the volume level so that my ears can survive my Stooges-style riffing.

I hope that fills up some of the missing pieces.

The beauty of punk is any guitar and any amp will do. Just throw some distortion on and bash those strings like its going out of style.

I genuinely want to to refrain from replying in this thread because it's ever so easy to read my comments as salacious or unacceptable because I have reached a certain age which is understandable but annoying as **** especially if you just want to comment on a pic and agree that they look good or that the photo is a good photo in itself.

If I say that Burning Down has a great smile that doesn't mean that I am a pervert or that WWP has the best hat ever doesn't mean that I have a hat fetish either.

So bollocks to anyone who thinks I am odd and I will say that Burning Down has an amazing smile. WWP has the cutest face ever and to balance it out, Bob is the coolest MF on here.

It's been one of those weeks that has just left me haggared. The sudden spike in heat isn't helping either.

I at first thought that was a Mickeys 40oz.

While that taste like crap it does have a high Alcohol content, like 8% or something. Also "Reverend Horton Heat and the Ramones[1] were commissioned to release several radio jingles for the beverage in the 1990s"

Here in Pittsburgh PA we have Iron City Beer. HOLY **** DOES IT SUCK. Really cheap but taste like lickin the inside of a can.

Yeungling is typically my cheap beer of choice.
