VERY close. Let's just say that I knew of it second-hand...and sometimes literally "second-hand" before the prices rose on used albums and when certain bands were waiting to get their full over-due respect.

I grew up as a kid when Punk was happening and in an area where I was possibly the only one that actually wanted to hear of it (VERY small town, US).

FETCHER. 04-09-2012 05:40 AM

I'd kill to have been in my teens/early 20's in the 60's. All that acid :).

Goofle 04-09-2012 07:22 AM

Screen13, I cracked up at that last photo. Least enthusiastic smile I have seen.

Frownland 04-09-2012 07:56 AM

I'd call it the solemn hint of a smirk.

Screen13 04-09-2012 09:13 AM

One of these days, I'll "Get it right."

I reckon he may be stoned. If I'm right, cheers! If I'm wrong, whatevas, he still seems like a cool dude...

FETCHER. 04-10-2012 08:12 AM

Least smiley stoner ever. I can't keep my Cheshire grin off my face when I'm high. Unless its srs business then the game face goes on :D

Howard the Duck 04-10-2012 08:15 AM

i laugh when i'm high

i mean really laugh

at nothing

PoorOldPo 04-10-2012 01:32 PM

I know what you mean. I dunno if I am always smiling when I am stoned. But I generally just kinda, my eyes just float if you know what I mean. When I am really stoned I get this weird thing where..you know the transitional space between your torso and your arm? I start becoming aware of those connections and the life that if flowing through them, it is really amazing and freaky at the same time. This happen to anyone else? Maybe I am not describing it well enough, I spose it is such a delicate connection, your think like....woah....my arms are attached to my torso...Like for real.

Mrd00d 04-10-2012 09:59 PM

Well Po, it's not just you. The thing about connections in your body - I get that a bit too. Especially since playing with Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. During, definitely, but ever after as well, in a lesser way. But needless to say when I smoke, I really start to notice my jaw and I've scared myself thinking too much about the stuff. The weight and feel of clothes also, for lack of a better phrase, bugs me. Luckily it's not every time, but I try not to think about stuff like that any more.

As far as smiling and/or laughing necessarily when I'm lit, I actually am stone-faced like Screen13 more often than not. That's why I guessed that. My chinese eyes really show when I smile, but I could pass for sober with a straight face.

FETCHER. 04-11-2012 01:40 PM

I smoke weed too much to hit the giggles, I mainly just talk **** and smile.

PoorOldPo 04-11-2012 01:43 PM

The art of **** talkery is a delicate and refined art. One I have perfected to such a degree, that I never laugh, no matter how outlandish and retarded it gets.

FETCHER. 04-11-2012 01:49 PM

I'm deadly serious when I'm **** talking, all the time. Then I'll think about how crazy I sounded then laugh because I'm high. Always the same cycle.

PoorOldPo 04-11-2012 01:53 PM

You should like... record that ****, me and this other stoner friend of mine are gonna start a youtube channel soon and play elevator jazz music in the backround while we have intellectual conversations about space wolves and ancient Mesopotamia and other stuff in strong Irish accents.

WWWP 04-11-2012 01:54 PM

The most profound thought I've ever had while high was "I wonder if they've started putting more electrical sockets into new houses to accommodate the expansion of technology in the home."

Edit: I know it word for word because I took the time to write it down.

PoorOldPo 04-11-2012 01:57 PM

Anyone ever see like...colours and shapes in their head when they are really stoned?

Does this mean you've never lived in an old home or does it mean you've never lived in a new home?

Haha, good point. I've never lived in a new home. "New" implying that it was built within the last 30 years.

So you've never lived in an old home either then. :p:

The answer to the question is yes, by the way.

This nervous looking medical student sneezed in my face on my bus ride home last night. I woke up with this terrible rash and this odd craving for... Flesh?

Anybody know what I might have caught?

I'm not a massive cat fan, but yours is adorable. I love when you post his pictures :). If I ever move out I might get a cat because they're less responsibility than dogs, but I want yours :D

Sansa Stark 04-12-2012 09:42 AM

Ya don't, he'll wake you up crying at 3 am just so you'll open the door then he'll gawk at you, and run away like its funny

FETCHER. 04-12-2012 12:44 PM

I know some cats are clingy like dogs, but my mates acts as if it's king and doesn't need anyone, I'd want mines to lay on my lap and stuff. :D

Here's me at Black Walnut Canyon in Arizona. I'm the one chilling in the crevice while my sister waits for me to get out so that she can have a go.

I'm disappointed that you're disappointed, so here. It's almost 9:30 PM, no makeup, super tired, but I made the effort. I smiled just for you, Pete.
