It's not the only thing they taught you.

Where did you even get that??? Is there some kind of broadly recognized stereotype about Navy guys being gay or something???

Where did that come from? Do you really think everyone thinks Navy guys are gay? I really think you're intelligent enough to know that we're making a joke that's a reflection of an obviously ridiculous and outdated perception.

I'll try not to make any assumptions though, and let you provide whatever evidence you're going to provide.

Really? I thought the targeted induviduals would know me a little better than that.

Actually nothing was really about you until you made it about you.
Plus you spelled "individuals" wrong.

;)
Wink.

Isn't everyone taught like this?

Just a different way to tie a neck tie. And I lied, it actually has like 5 steps.

Also you could have posted that in the Cafe, it's no holds barred. Sometimes people aren't drinking, sometimes music isn't playing in the background. Doesn't really matter much.

Oh, I know that way also but I just don't do it that way. Does seem like it would be slightly quicker.

And that yields a better knot?

I was taught the same way as Burning Down posted, and used that method all through school (when it was quick to do, and no one really cared how their tie looked). Then someone would pull on it and make the knot ridiculously tight. Since I left school I learned the proper symmetrical way to tie one, because imo it looks much better (and with age comes more awareness of what looks smart in a suit)

That's absolutely correct!

holly984 05-23-2011 03:16 PM

Burning Down- You're lovely! Like everyone else, I'm digging the glasses :)

Dayvancowboy- So pretty! Nice photo! :)

Conan- Haha! Nice video.

Burning Down 05-23-2011 03:19 PM

Thank you Holly! I think I'm getting new ones soon and if I do I will post a picture!

It can't be the first time though, and it's not a bad thing, just an observation :p:

ThePhanastasio 05-23-2011 08:29 PM

Don't be concerned, mang. The general consensus amongst people with whom I've talked about Scooby Doo is that Velma = Hotter than Daphne. Particularly movie version.

Queen Boo 05-23-2011 08:32 PM

Velma has honker tits in the new animated version for no apparent reason at all.

Scarlett O'Hara 05-23-2011 09:10 PM

Totally. Velma is so cute.

Howard the Duck 05-23-2011 09:17 PM

Velma is hot.

Freebase Dali 05-23-2011 09:22 PM

If it's any consolation, I would tap Velma. The cartoon one.

Paedantic Basterd 05-23-2011 09:24 PM

Bet if you google searched "velma" with the safesearch off, you'd get an awful lot of dubious fanarts.

Freebase Dali 05-23-2011 09:27 PM

I live for dubious fan art.

Paedantic Basterd 05-23-2011 09:28 PM

...Forgot about the dubious cosplays! My, you never saw Velma at that angle in the series.

ThePhanastasio 05-23-2011 09:28 PM

Or just google rule 34 Velma, lol

Paedantic Basterd 05-23-2011 09:30 PM

My favourite is the one where Scooby is fucking her dogstyle.

Burning Down 05-23-2011 09:31 PM

Is it really considered "doggystyle" for him though? Isn't it just "regular"?
