But man, he's holding it by the bottom of the can - looks so unnatural! I get that the actor probably has to do that, so as to not obfuscate the logo, but now that I've noticed it, I can't help but be bothered by it.

I feel like this is not a correct usage of "obfuscate" but I can't be sure. Like, obfuscating something should be more abstract than literally covering something up.

I just looked up the definition. You might be right. Might be a matter of interpreation or intent I suppose.
