Leaving the fox to guard the chicken coop right there.

Yeah, I plan to avoid those unless I want to ruffle some feathers.

Either way, I mostly came back to discuss music. I started reading a book on Henry Cow and I felt like this might be a good place to talk about it. That, and my love for music in general—especially experimental music.

Speaking of which I've been on a huge zeuhl kick lately

^ Great to see you here again! You've been gone for ages, JackPat, but your influence lives on - with me, at any rate, as I'm still playing some of your old recommendations.
Music discussions can be pretty sluggish here now; the last few pages of this thread will bring you up to speed on where the real MB action is these days
P.S. Looking cool, with a change of hair colour unless I'm mistaken.

Thanks! Yeah, I remember being in that folk album club with you—listened to a lot of excellent music. And yes, I did change my hair color. I use henna to dye it now.

Yep, that's the one. I really appreciate how thorough and critical it is of capitalism so far.

I definitely recommend checking it out. I was looking for books on zeuhl or avant-prog—specifically books on Magma—but came across this. Immediately downloaded it on my Kindle.
