I once convinced myself that I wasn't balding.

Yeah tbh people can change a lot of their behaviors but the way they basically are is pretty stagnant.

I don’t agree with that, but you are free to believe what you want

Honestly I think a lot of what people think of as maturity and becoming an adult is really just changing hormones and people correlating those changing hormones with lifestyle changes that other people tend to have at certain ages that convince them that they've matured when really they just had a hormonal change that the other people in their socio-economic bracket also had and lo and behold they had similar lifestyle changes while actively trying to correlate their lifestyle changes for the sake of social advancement. But really they're still exactly the same people they were a few years ago just with different hormones.

No way. Our bodies are constantly changing on a cellular level. The human body doesn't completely replace itself every 7-10 years like the facebook memes say, but we are in a constant process of regeneration. I am a different person than I was even two years ago. Different priorities, different goals, different mistakes, different lessons learned. I don't even recognize the person I was ten years ago. Morals and values are constantly evolving, beliefs and knowledge is acquired.
don't say that i have changed because man of course i have |

Do you have significantly different skin cells? Muscle cells? Are you a hideous chimaera because of your changed cells? Or is the idea that all of your cells are regularly replaced a convenient metaphor for... whatever metaphor people life to flagwave while saying this **** even though it essentially amounts to jack ****? Don't be a moron.

I don’t attribute the positive change in my life to “maturity,” whatever that means. It’s because I made myself healthier physically, mentally, and psychologically, which has had astounding benefits on everything I do. Additionally I found success professionally and romantically, both which give me feelings of purpose that I’ve never felt before. When someone finds a true equilibrium of happiness it’s hard not to feel uplifted and like you can continue to improve yourself all-around. Hope I don’t just sound like some hippie quack or something here. Just hope maybe I can inspire others, I’ve been having a ton of fun on MB since I came back so I want everyone to be happy
