You look like that guy in the band who gets all the underage groupies.

Darkthrone make better shirts than albums tbh.

Another thrifting success! Not only did I find the pair of polyester trousers I was scouting for, but also scored four stylish vintage dress shirts which match perfectly with two of my favorite retro blazers, and this incredible pair of bell bottoms that match my velvet blazer, all for under $25!

(Shut up. I'm happy.)

Looking slick, ISB. The shirt collar over the jacket is an aggressive move. Idk how to feel about it so I probably like it.

You’re like a non-transsexual Mondo.

I'd never put the two together... I dare say you're not far off the mark.

I'm trying to decide whether or not to sport them to the office tomorrow. They've relaxed the dress code to business casual (e.g. polo+jeans) but I show up every day in a vintage 3-piece suit. There's a photo album of my new office after my promotion pending on my member journal just as soon as the last piece of artwork arrives from London. Persian rugs, commissioned bronze classical busts, rare framed art prints, velvet furniture... the whole space is decked out to the nines. :) Watch for it!

I hear you. I've been wearing wide-collared 70s disco shirts outside velvet, suede, and corduroy blazers paired with vests for the last year now. It's become my trademark.

I confess I'm lost on that reference. Clue me in?

I adopted this particular style six years ago and have been introducing more contemporary elements this past year - geometric patterned wide collar cotton deadstock dress shirts and fitted jeans give my retro style a more modern touch.

But this was the outfit that started it all in 2013:
