i shaved 10 minutes off of one of my runs from the previous year....and i've already explained to everyone that only people who are willing to train for this will be allowed on the team (this year three out of the twelve ran without training.....and they seriously hurt themselves....i mean come on...it's a 178 mile run in the mountains at elevations reaching 8000 feet...why would you not fucking train for that?)
We started at 8 am on Friday and finished at 1230 Saturday
Every first Saturday of the month i run a 5k with a running club that is sponsored by one of our local gastro pubs....we run 3 miles they give us free beer...it always begins at 11
goal for next year is finish in time for me to get to said pub to run 3 miles and get my free beer!
