Our low self-esteems are the only thing keeping us from not doing this for 12 hours a day I suppose.
That and I'm incredibly lazy.

you know elphenor has the kind of eyes that we call in arabic oyoun naasa which literally translates to 'sleepy eyes' basically meaning his eye shape, the outer corners are lower that the inner corners giving him a kind of sleepy look its considered to be the most beautiful eye shape in arab culture bc that sleepy look is considered to be sexy in women and poets and songwriters have been writing about it for centuries mostly about women tho tbh but i think in western culture they just call them droopy eyes and they're not considered to be that beautiful like i've never heard anything about this in an english language song or poem?? i'm not sure.

OH! Slightly off-topic, but could you perhaps explain the term 'Mahrokh'? (I don't remember the equivalent english term-- moon? Moon-face?) Is it a compliment or an insult? |
