Real antique clothing will always look far better-- steampunk ensembles typically consist of various Hot Topic-quality neo-Victorian clothing of various brown hues layered on top of each other, maybe with some clock gears haphazardly glued on. Steampunk rightfully died out because they all lacked conviction!

What an honor! I've been likened to James Joyce and to Oscar Wilde a few times recently and I couldn't think of a finer compliment!

But most-treasured is my vinyl copy of Joyce, himself reading from The Wake and Ulysses.

I’ve also a copy of Time Magazine from 1939 with a handsomely elder Joyce on the cover containing his final interview before his passing. I made sure to produce high-resolution scans of the issue in full and had the piece archivally framed for my parlor.
