Dreamy as always, innerspaceboy. The winkle picker boots + long scarf truly make the outfit!

Instead of a monocle, though-- maybe opera glasses? (If you don't already own some)

I honestly don't know if you'd look any different if you tried steampunk cosplay.

WHAT! Real antique clothing will always look far better-- steampunk ensembles typically consist of various Hot Topic-quality neo-Victorian clothing of various brown hues layered on top of each other, maybe with some clock gears haphazardly glued on. Steampunk rightfully died out because they all lacked conviction!

 Well said, madame!

I have antique welder's goggles, but not a pair of proper opera glasses. I'd fancy these antique Lorgnette lenses by Iris of Paris from 1870. Their gold iridescent abalone shell really complements my regal taste.

I also like these gold engraved floral lenses with “The Elite Paris” etched upon the frames.

But I'm certainly open to your suggestions. (Just steer clear of the ghastly Barska and HRQP models they peddle at Walmart.)

If I'm a dick any part of me counts right?

And check your PMs for a pic of my member, DWV.

Haha. Whats wrong? You didnt like being reported for non member pics in the member pics thread?

Frownland 02-27-2017 11:57 PM

Whose finger do you think that is? I've posted my nose before. Connect the dots.

And to profess my love of Joyce, from The Innerspace Library: A Summary I've just drafted:

Quote:

I've a strange collection of James Joyce items, including:
  • an Easton edition of Ulysses
  • a museum exhibit text titled, Ulysses in Hand
  • a cryptic and dense Annotations to Finnegans Wake published by Johns Hopkins University
  • a 1960s paperback of The Wake
  • Campbell’s A Skeleton Key to Finnegans Wake
  • and A Gaelic Lexicon for The Wake published by The University of California in 1968
But most-treasured is my vinyl copy of Joyce, himself reading from The Wake and Ulysses.

I’ve also a copy of Time Magazine from 1939 with a handsomely elder Joyce on the cover containing his final interview before his passing. I made sure to produce high-resolution scans of the issue in full and had the piece archivally framed for my parlor.
Thanks so much for the comment!
