Just a couple of bros enjoying our joint birthday party.

I have that same AC shirt, we're so cool.

Rickenbacker 06-26-2010 11:23 AM

I seriously considered getting this one:

...but then I was like 'nahhhhh'

Although the temptation to have my shirt match my desktop was hard to resist.

Antonio 06-26-2010 12:48 PM

Rick, i would not think ill of you at all if you did. hell, i wouldn't mind rocking that shirt.

right-track 06-26-2010 01:19 PM

That shirt should come with an epilepsy warning.

Mojo 06-26-2010 01:26 PM

I was really just about to say that that nearly gave me a seizure just then. Ive seen it before of course but its never screwed with my vision before like it just did.

Freebase Dali 06-26-2010 01:28 PM

I just see the little green things move around. Is that bad?

AleG 06-26-2010 01:29 PM

Which shirt are we talking about? The marijuana shirt, or the one the grey-haired stud is sporting?

Freebase Dali 06-26-2010 01:30 PM

I was talking about his desktop background.

Mojo 06-26-2010 01:31 PM

The one Rickenbacker is using as his desktop. I do have epilepsy, it has no connection with my vision though. Its not photosensitive or anything so saying that it nearly gave me a seizure is obviously an overstatement but it did just mess with my vision. I had to clear my head.

Yea it's one of those optical illusion things.
This is probably the coolest one I've seen... WARNING, EPILEPTICS... this will make you have a seizure probably:

Press play and full size it, stare at the center until it's over, then look around your room/living room/whatever.
It is quite trippy.

NumberNineDream 06-26-2010 03:18 PM

^That's truly awesome!

right-track 06-26-2010 04:43 PM

Not as good as this one;

Thrice 06-26-2010 05:01 PM

I had the jump on it. Seemed eerily similar to Dali's

Perhaps I should have posted these in the attention whore thread, but here are a few pictures from some recent photo shoots with the band. :)

Seltzer 06-30-2010 11:55 PM

Haha that's exactly what I thought. Maybe I've spent too much time thinking about ray tracers?

^I don't .. I don't like shoes that haven't got shoelaces.

I couldn't wear these for example. I would just feel so silly and embarassed.

Urgh. They are beyond disgusting.

FaSho 07-03-2010 10:35 AM

A good bit of my running friends use those because they simulate barefoot running, which is much better for your knees/shins etc. I can't see someone wearing them casually though.

Same here, the only time I've ever worn any shoes that doesn't have shoe laces is on holiday when I'm wearing my flip flops.

Neither, they were part of the whole wannabe emo/punk image and by wearing them you represented being a 'tortured genius' here in NZ. Thank God that ship has sailed, theyre hideous. Like clogs, but without the advantage of being exotically Dutch.
