and similarly to Batlord's point, the company I'm with does not dictate my morality. There are some people I may joke more with and what not, but the context of my jokes isn't going to suddenly become racist/sexist I'm in the company of people who aren't offended by that kind of thing.

It's not just about the people who might get offended, it's about the people who might find the joke funny. I wouldn't tell racist or homophobic jokes at Stormfront because the reason they would laugh would piss me off. The reason the people here make and laugh at jokes like that is far different though.

It's not really necessary. My whole point is that people here have used it so much to the point that it is considered a joke. If we shouldn't use it, we shouldn't use swear words either. I've never been told specifically to stop using the word ***got, so I assumed it was pretty mutually accepted.

I mean, I guess yeah. But again, nobody specifically has said they're offended by it. Only that people have claimed it's offensive. That hardly counts.

I noticed an increase in the usage as soon as WD left and no one had to worry about offending him. I guess that does make you dorks somewhat considerate, I'm still judging you though.
