My sister posts pictures of her daughter on Facebook all the time. I'd never ever post any of those pics on here without her permission. Why? Because Facebook is a setting of friends and family. This is an open forum for anyone to view at any time. Facebook has preventive measures set up from some people seeing those photos. This site doesn't.
