And just to clarify, I don't start drinking at noon JUST because I'm an alcoholic. I have to wake up at 4:30 in the morning six days a week for work, so I have to start drinking earlier than most just so that I don't wake up completely out of it the next day.

Uh oh he's starting to get defensive about it. This is probably a good time for the intervention.

I'm perfectly willing to admit that I have a problem, and am proud of it, but at least I have a valid reason for drinking early.

You end up napping most of the afternoon away. Plus biting the hair of the dog should be a breakfast meal, not dinnertime.
I no longer drink before 10:00 AM. Plus I milk out drinks now for at least an hour or more. I use to start at 8:00 AM sometimes and would pound one every thirty minutes. People on this forum remember THOSE days.....

You don't have as much booze when the evening comes around.
