I have 34 years of rings on you. Stand down.

Stand down.

Down.

You sound angry. And what is it with you and the age argument?

It's a nice fallback for when you can't actually back up your statements.

Your elders > you.

This is truth.

Chules can tell your ass about the 70s, so take a seat.

I'm about as far from as angry as I can get these days.

I'll use age whenever I see fit. Thank you very much.

Frowny, you have a long road to haul before you can even be in my discussion.

Just know it's a ****ty argument. You being older doesn't make you better / wiser.

Actually, honeybun, it totally does.

Frownland 08-22-2015 11:39 PM

Being old and wrong is just as bad as being young and wrong.

There are some things that our elders definitely get wrong, but for the most part I trust their judgment.

Both of my parents are total pieces of garbage when it comes to respecting all walks of life but I still trusted my dad when he told me not to eat peanut butter after smoking weed

I'll forgive your ignorance based on your youth.

There are obviously exceptions, but I find that the elders are just better at rationalizing their nonsensical bull****. I feel like the bulk of them don't even realize how close minded they are. Then again, Chula can't even rationalize his nonsense so I wouldn't trust him. I'm a pretty good problem solver on my own, I don't need gramps giving me tips.
