No. Probably I make some mistakes and I have some troubles to understand some english phrases but I try to do my best :)

I am from european capital Prague (Czech Republic) so my language is czech.

I have a feeling everybody see english isn't my language. If my english isn't so bad, it's nice to know about it. I realized that more than half of people here are from United States or United Kingdom.
As a foreign person I probably see english music and english lyrics in some different way... But I have to say music helps me a lot to understand english speaking.

^ I memorised English lyrics before I was even able to understand what the hell I was talking about ... then it all came naturally.

Btw, out of curiosity, would you get upset if someone pointed out when you make mistakes? You don't make them often mind you, but I know I've often wondered how many I make 'cos no one here seems to correct me and I'm sure I make some...:\

I liked that sentence too. At first I didn't realize that she was Petula so I was kind of wondering what it was.

I know I make a LOT of mistakes, that I notice 10 minutes later, and pray no one else notices them... I don't think you do much mistakes, and I usually assume it's just a typo. Plus most of the English and American members sometimes post something wrong also... so I think it's better if no one points out the other one's mistakes :p:

lol I know, I didn't take it that way.
But I notice how much I forget to include words, a problem I had since I was a very young kid. I just happen to say half the words in my mind, and write only the other half on paper.

NND, i think most people here can tell that English isnt your first language due to certain mistakes but to be honest i think your English is fantastic. If you do make mistakes, they are small and barely noticeable. I make mistakes too, my English is far from perfect and I am English.

Yeah that's cool, happens to me a lot. I also frequently forget to add "n't", like I write "did" instead of "didn't". Weird. Sometimes I'm not sure if I wrote some English phrase right so I have to google it to make sure, even though I've used it a million times...:laughing: Like I wasn't sure if "all the rage" was an actual expression...crazy...

But yeah, I think only people who speak other languages know how difficult and rare it is for someone to reach a conversational level of proficiency in a foreign language. That's why I have to need to commend others...:\
