I thought she meant 'sub-conscious', as in a low-par version of conscious thought, bordering on the unconscious. And I think she made the word up because she doesn't know what subconscious (without hyphen) means.
'Sub-conscience' doesn't make sense grammatically, it would have been 'sub-conscientious'. Sub-conscientious still wouldn't have made much sense in terms of topic. If she's referring to the speed of a computer and making an analogy to her brother's mental state it seems more likely that the analogy is based on the speed and clarity of thought ('conscious') rather than the moral implications of that thought ('conscience').
My day: I slept a lot and now I'm about to do some more lab work. Also, there is a fun day planned involving phoning up lots of service companies to sort out the bills for the house I had to move out of having only known 3 days beforehand. Fun funf unfunfunfunf!!! un!!
