I don't play but I delivered/installed pool tables for 2 years in rain, shine, and snow, carrying 250 lb pieces of slate so piss off. :D
Puss. |
I grew up in Wyoming where we'd snowmobile into school and could only have indoor recess if it was below zero
Edit: That reminded me I wanted to share this http://i58.tinypic.com/kthev.jpg |

Here's some pics of my course when snow isn't there. Trees, alcoves, swamps... annoying teenagers...
Considered one of the more challenging. Maybe you just need to try a different course, Bat. Or you need to be throwing from the bitch tee. http://www.discgolfscene.com/coursepictures/63451_m.jpg http://www.discgolfscene.com/coursepictures/8655_m.jpg http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course...8/3c9ded5c.jpg |
All that **** surrounding the whole course? Straight up marshland. Hole 7 and 13 have you throwing over the actual marsh, and if you go in, there's really no way to get your disc back unless it's not too far out, you can find some nice logs to make a jury-rigged bridge with, or it's hella low tide. Almost lost many a shoe fishing for lost discs.
Holes 1, 5, 6, 8, and 15 also have legitimate shots at going into the marsh, especially the ones that are on almost sheer, twenty-foot inclines dropping directly into swamp. If your course is as hateful as mine then I pity you. http://www.pdga.com/files/course_map...eek_VA_Map.jpg |
That does suck. You just have to get good enough that you don't throw your disc off path, because you're gonna have a bad time.

I see a bunch of trees. Gonna have to point out the swamp.
