Thanks for the compliments folks. I trust I can count on your votes then in this year's nominations?

Thanks, Chula. It´s certainly a phase that sticks in the mind; I probably read that poem about 45 years ago !
Thanks, Pet_Sounds. Yes, it´s a photo from this summer, while I was on holiday in England. My destination was here, the Lake District :-

Thanks, Carpe ! Yes, walking over hills like that, the combination of the air, the exercise, the silence and the views is really uplifting and I´ve been lucky enough to go there several times - although you have to be prepared for rainy days too.

Even though I live in a province with over 250,000 lakes and a third of the world's fresh water, I'm still amazed by the beauty of landscapes like that.

Oh lord dude. I was at work the whole time it wasn't even that bad for us until the drains overflowed into the store. Which we apparently are supposed to have preventative measures for? IDK I'm still the new guy more or less.
I heard it was a lot worse in the East Bay? Especially around the freeways? Idr what part of norcal you're in- did you guys get hard? I was kind of underwhelmed tbh. edit: Lisna, woah. Wherever you are with the lakes... beautiful, man.
