I'm happy with mine. I find it better to embrace the curl. The more you fight it the more you get frustrated so I just get stuff that's meant for curly/wavey-haired folks such as myself. The long it gets the curlier it gets, eventually it'll turn into little ringlet things that don't even look natural. My hair is some crazy business, man.

^I have a feeling that nobody is going to see you and wonder if your ringlets are natural or not

I don't need mine straight, just manageable. When I had mine grown out no matter what I did it was impossible to run a comb or a brush through it. Trying to do anything but put it in a frizzy ponytail was pretty much out of the question.

I had this haircut before anyone gave a **** about Skrillex. Mother****er copp'd muh style, yo.

the comparison is made pretty often, too.

I'm gettin my hair professionally dyed for the first time in years tomorrow. I usually just do it myself, but I have four inches of natural root... something that happens pretty frequently because I'm a lazy indifferent bitch... and have decided to go back to my natural ashy brown.

I figure next time I'm feeling frisky for some new color I'll just do the tips, less commitment and something I've never tried.

Getting colors done at the salon is much better for your hair. Box dye is a killer of hair. I used to color, for years. Any color I ever wanted, I'd just go for it. I ended up having a terrible allergic reaction when I was 19 (about 6yrs ago), and never colored again. There's little traces of permanent dyes from years past in my hair, which gives it a really unique look, but I'll never color it again. I don't even blow-dry it. Beautiful hair depends on how well you treat it. :)

Yeah I try to be nice to it with coconut oil and stuff haha. It looked great long for years until I got creative and added layers. Now those layers are all split ended as **** and it's lookin crappy. Hopefully they can help me a bit tomorrow.
