When I was 16 I was heavily into metal. I am an avid gamer as well! I still like metal but tend to get stuck into alternative, post rock, electronica and prog. I hope you do find a girl who can get into the same things with you, maybe look on the gaming/metal forums you might find someone who lives nearby.

None of my girl mates are into gaming, forums, and music. My friend Teri* is into only country and drum and base. She buys boring clothes, has a boring job, and does boring things. I love her to bits but I hate being compared to female clichés.

And if you say "I don't have a phone", we know you're fibbing. Nobody under the age of 50 has a land-line telephone with a hand-written personal directory, and you'd be hard-pressed to find a pay-phone anywhere (and if you do, they're probably like 50 cents a minute at this point).

Also if you happen to access the internet via laptop, 99% of the time there's a built-in camera, so don't be lyin'.

The only phone I have is a ****ty prepaid TracFone and like DJ said, no computer of my own. We don't even have an actual camera at home. I'm pretty sure the only picture of me post-high school that exists is on a friend's phone who I haven't spoken to in two or three years.
