The asda where I stay has an upstairs with a balcony and I love standing on the balcony just watching people do their shopping. I even like sitting on benches on Glasgows busiest street just to have a look at some of the weird and wonderful people of Glasgow.

The same reason they would abstain from publishing the 21st chapter of A Clockwork Orange in America, whereas the book is left in tact elsewhere in the world. For whatever reason they thought it would sell better. Marketing, man. It's fucked.

They also changed a lot of vocab in the books when publishing them in America. Am glad I get to have all of the original versions with JK's original language in them! Same with Where's Wally. Why change it to Waldo? Is Wally not a valid name in America? |
