I might well do that for the metal festival in June I'm going to so I can blend in a little better!

Why not, you'd look so intense. I have a black leather jacket which I need a bike to match with, such as:

Beards are crucial nowadays. In fact, I'm not sure I can trust a man without a beard ...

Also, awesome picture of yourself. You remind me of Frank Zappa. Do you get that a lot?

White kid with a mohawk at a dim sum restaurant, suffice to say I stood out a bit.

So many hate on fohawks/mohawks but I think there pretty cool. I mean it shows some balls to have one. Anyone can wear a collared shirt and a crew cut around town but not any Joe Shmoe can have a landing strip on his head.

I have to agree, I love facial hair on a man, especially the thin band of beard. Very cool.

Jesus didn't have talent. Now Zappa ... That's a different story.

Pobody,

Is this a recent photo? I dig the mohawk, especially in a dim sum restaurant.
:D Go figure.

Although kudos for being able to formulate an argument that would have most 14 year olds scratching there heads with there pants down.

Roygbiv 04-13-2009 10:13 PM

^ I second that.

I was unimaginably dumb and confused when I was 14.

I dunno man, when I was still living in Vancouver I took a weekend trip to Victoria on Vancouver Island and I saw these three Asian dudes with 'hawks like mine, but they were all the same shade of florescent pink, like the pink lemonade, popped polo shirts, those retarded looking sunglasses that resemble safety goggles, Hollister shorts, and some Starbucks frappucino. I remember running my hand over my hawk and just said "yeah it's time to go, I don't really want to lumped into a group with members like that". Yes I know that sounds kind of elitist of me, but god damn it was truly a sight for sore eyes.

Don't worry, they weren't Vietnamese, they were Filipino. I've lived in Vancouver long enough to know the difference.

You stand out more because you're not asian.

Very true, it was always easy to spot my friends if we were meeting up at the restaurant, especially cause two of people in the group were gingers.

His other Grandparents (IE , not my parents) own a massive farmhouse with a massive garden & barns so there's plenty of room for him to use it there.
