Wow, you must have paranormal powers, Erica! I've just realized that I was thinking about it, exactly at that instant. In fact, soon afterwards I was on the bus:

And I wonder: if you're able to guess the past, can you do the same about the future (e.g. the lottery)?

Sigh. :(

I am a one-cat person, Zaqarbal. I had a fluffy cat-friend once. I called her "Sunshine." I was with her from her kitten years until the day she died. Although I'm sure I'd care for another cat if one chanced upon my life, my "heart" is filled by Sunshine, and trying to get another cat to fill that empty space just wouldn't work. It would be like having another child if one's first one died. I just couldn't do it.

Sunshine was irreplaceable. When I think of a fluffy cat, I think of her. No other cat would ever do. I don't want another cat. I only want her. :( In fact, being with other cats always makes me a little sad, because they are all nice, but none of them are her.

This is the tragedy of love, I'm afraid.

The bus picture of you is exactly like I pictured it! ;)

I have not attempted to use my vast paranormal powers predicting the lottery...yet.

Awww such a sad story.

I'm just a cat lover. I'm pretty sure when my Tails passes away. I will get another one that looks just like her and call her Tails version 2.0! :D

Stronger! Faster! Kittier!

Most cicadas in Norway are less than 5 millimetres big, which is tiny. Compared to those, the one in my frame is a friggin monster! Even as a biologist with interests in entomology, I'm not sure how I'd react if one of those flying fists flew in my face during an evening stroll.

I can imagine there's probably good eatin' on those though.

I had a marinated one - it was sourish salty

Was it good?

I remember dissecting cockroaches. I can't remember the specific species we worked on, but inside their exoskeletons, you had basically some guts encased in a nice rich mass of white fat. Since fat is so rich in energy, I figured those cockroaches could be regarded as relatively high quality food .. although maybe not in taste. :p:

it was pretty tasteless, except for the marinade, anyway you aren't supposed to eat the cicada, they use its chemicals for the anti-fever herbal tea, it was accidental and out of curiousity that I ate it - the cicada itself was pretty dry and crunchy

some of the China Chinese eat cockroaches

Street vendors sell these in Thailand. You hold the giant ****roach/beetle in the palm of your hand and rip the soft under belly out by tearing one of the legs inwardly.
Can't remember what they taste like...I was bladdered at the time. :/

Some pictures from the KISS concert I went to at the Houston rodeo...there were tons of people there who went all out with the makeup and costumes.
These guys were awesome...I mean really decked out. Every time they would stop in the hallway, people would congregate around them and beg them for pictures.

Me with some cowboys sporting better makeup jobs than me:

And here's some from the show, which aren't all the great I'm afraid. That's what you get with sports arena seating. :\
