Jans, I think your clothing makes a pretty big statement that your music preference isn't composed of trendy garbage. I think that's the only relevant assumption that can be made here.

I see a man who's clothing portrays no necessary relation between his music preference and what he wears.
Of course, this is typical for most grown ups. I doubt most kids would understand that music isn't ACTUALLY a lifestyle.

Story of my life.

My music is a lifestyle. I listen to sludge and doom and I am very smelly and unkepmt. But seriously, I really do need a shower, off I go.

Nail on head.
I think it's just kids that let their musical preferences define their appearance.
Even when I was younger I never really conformed to it.
I've never understood it. Just wear what you want and listen to what you want.

Not conforming to any style, but somehow still a tad alternative and a very friendly grin. I would have recognized you on the streets without this picture :D.
Despite the fact that I'm completely heterosexual I can honestly say I like the way you look. You would make an instant good impression with me. Even with that shirt.

About the clothing/music thing: You probably can't match a music style to your style, but seeing the way you look and dress, I'd say chances would be very small that you didn't like good music at all. It somehow shows.

Your definition of 'normally' is a bit odd :D.
