Don't they have snow in New Zealand?

Yes, they do, but not during Christmas! Our seasons are reversed. All I want is a white Christmas, damnit.
Plus, when I lived in New Zealand the snow that fell wasn't snow snow, it was just a light dusting. The real snow only occurred on high peaks where nobody lives.

Of course it's possible, if you want to drive hours up a huge mountain which is in the middle of nowhere and where nobody lives! And even then the snow is dirty and crap, and most ski fields make fake snow. I'm talking about just looking out the window and seeing snow in your street. Sigh.

If you had to move to a polar climate, where would you go?

A polar climate is a bit extreme, I don't think I'd cope, ha! But for somewhere where it snows during the holidays I'd probably like to move to Canada :)
