Exhibiting the final year project which has dominated my life for the past month or so. We won an award for it too.

^ You're all suited up! Algorithm Visualisation?! Yikes! That sounds smart.

Here is a picture of me with my radish earrings. 10 points if you know the significance of such a thing.

Hey Luna!

I'll admit I only learnt how to tie a tie the night before as I've only had to wear one on three occasions in my life. Yay for public schools with lax uniform policies.

Yeay for algorithm visualisation! I couldn't read the fine print (darn magnifying glass!), but is your work something like in this video? YouTube - The Vivaldi-algorithm visualized

Radish earrings = you're pregnant.

Haha yes! You win.

I went to a public school, but unfortunately we did not have lax uniform policies... even girls had to wear ties when we wore our shirt/skirt combination in winter months. So it will forever be ingrained into my memory how to tie a tie!

You look snazzy all suited and tie-d up though

Haha what! Why would this be the case? Creative assumption, though!

It's closer to this, but with numbers instead of cards. And without the silly music

The motivation behind our work was that most existing animations (like those two) are tailored only towards specific algorithms and are fairly time-consuming to create. So we were creating a tool to automatically generate (ideally) meaningful visualisations of any algorithm.

That sucks. So you would be forgiving if one of your future students neglected to wear their tie and say, biffed it in a creek?

Well that actually sounds quite useful and efficient! The tool your team created is kind of like an algorithm for making meaningful visualisations of any algorithm.

Hey! Don't knock the silly music! I think your next poster should be like a musical greeting card and play that very same music whenever anyone approaches.
