I thought they always made fun of Meg and called her ugly to parody how teenage girls rarely, if ever get mocked in sitcoms? Like, they're exempt from it cuz they're hot?

The only thing unattractive about her is her stupid clothes, she looks pretty fine to me, but she's a ****ing cartoon character. I know a girl that gets told she looks like Lois a lot, but she's gorgeous

I think that picture you showed of yourself earlier does look a little "gender neutral" simply because you have short hair and you have a young, fresh face like young teens of both genders have...and there is nothing wrong with that at all!

I remember when I was 15, boardsofcanada, and got my hair cut short (much shorter than yours) my brother afterwards scoffed, "You look like a boy!" Like it's bad to be a boy? Snort. Like girls can't have short hair? Double snort. The fixation on separating people into males and females through superficial physical means always strikes me as simplistic. The reality is that boys' and girls' faces and physiques (beyond the obvious!) look very similar.
