Nothing infuriates me more than people telling me to smile more. This way I can hide years of nicotine and caffeine abuse done to my teeth, which are getting whiter now that I'm on a new type of tooth paste.

Buddy, the Rhodesian Ridgeback doesn't have the ridge either, but I think that's because of the Lab in him. I mean he's got the size of the Ridgeback, but the doofus personality of a lab, but he's very gentle. His tail is problematic though as it's swung and whacked me in the nuts on a few occasions, one time nearly dropping me to the floor. His size is probably around the same size as the Great Dane in some of those pictures you posted earlier, maybe an inch or two smaller.

If your self concious about your teeth, one with no teeth would do the trick too :D joking. Some people just dont smile, not because theyre unhappy or dour.. just dont! :)

I'm pretty sure the ridge is a symptom of spine bifida. So I've been told. But aye he looks like a big dog! Ridgebacks tend to be quite protective dogs, over their owners I found anyway, or children. These ones were anyway! Haha, my dogs tail is like that too, although she never catches me in the balls... :D

I'm actually not at all self-conscious about the current state of my teeth, it was just a convenient excuse instead of having to try and explain why I don't smile.

Buddy is protective of his owners and his home, and is possibly the best guard dog I've seen without being overly aggressive. His size and bark is intimidating enough to know you don't want to mess with him, and even after that there's a coyote/chow and three chihuahuas.

Ah well, suit yourself :D!

Haha yes. My dogs a ****bag but has a scary bark and quite a frightening look. But if anyone broke in, she'd bolt! Shes very protective of me though.

:D How did it go? I did the july 4th 4 mile run this year. It was pretty neat.

I've been gone, so I guess I should update. Unlike some of you, I have not been running. Too hot.
That excuse works better than too fat.
