I actually have a picture on my profile page, but assuming you haven't seen it yet, here's a DIFFERENT picture, one of me shaven.

Big difference, nay?

Oh, I'm on the left, pointing to the right (my left). That's my ex gf's sister, at my ex gf's bday party. I still hang out with the sister, though my ex hates me. Also, we live RIGHT INFRONT of each-other (me and the ex). It sucks.

Your friends look several decades younger than you.

ProggyMan 10-29-2008 10:31 PM

Yeh, that's why they weren't stuffing leaves in my mouth for long.

Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Indigo Violet!
Your username makes me smile :)

lucifer_sam 10-29-2008 11:52 PM

Apparently indigo caught the axe earlier this year. Scientists claim that there's only six discernable colors now. And, well, Roygbv doesn't really hold up that well.

First Pluto, now this. :(

Are you serious, there is no Indigo?! Stupid scientists and their cutting out of Plutos and Indigos, my childhood days of learning planets and colours of the rainbow, rendered useless!

You should check out the Boards of Canada song that inspires the name. Here, my gift to you: Roygbiv

I'm learning the song that makes your username on bass. I already have "The Grudge" down. It's a good workout : P

Me on the very right > :band: but brown

Thank you muchly! Bopping along to the song as we speak.

Oooh, nice work! Tool songs are definitely a good work out. I'm impressed! I'm currently learning Vicarious guitar and I just finished writing a piano version of the song that makes my username!

Yay music :band:

Roygbiv 10-30-2008 09:35 PM

You're definitely much more talented than I am.
I play everything by ear because I'm just too lazy to learn how to read music, let alone write it.

/gasp

Whenever you play that piano version, be sure to post it up and share the link. It's pretty mind-blowing hearing such an angry song on such a delicate instrument.

Astronomer 10-30-2008 09:57 PM

I can read and write music but I never do because I am much too lazy :D I also learn everything by ear!

Yeah it's not as compelling as a full band on piano but it's still interesting and fun to do songs on piano :) There are quite a few videos of YouTubers taking on Tool songs on piano if you're especially interested in seeing that kinda stuff!

Roygbiv 11-02-2008 08:24 PM

For halloween I dressed up as a man in his pajamas, too sleepy to stay awake and having to work early in the morning the next day. It was a very affordable costume, and you should all try it next year!

Being waked at 6am in the morning after being in bed for only 35 minutes doesn't exactly make you feel elated.

Haha... I started punching holes in my picks so I could put them on my keyring because I always seem to lose them.

It always helps me hold on to them while playing. But thats a good idea also.

Kirby 11-04-2008 08:56 PM

I had two guitar picks. I never really used them.
I chewed on one all the time, and gave the other to my girlfriend.

I'm guessing you don't play guitar?

Mine get ****ed up (or lost) even when I don't use them.

Son of JayJamJah 11-04-2008 09:08 PM

The lost picks thing is like losing one sock.

I 've lost hundreds of picks in my house and found maybe 10. Where the fuck do they go.
