I'll try to think of something though to implement your useful and definitely truthful advice.

At one point in my life I was known as the Great & Powerful Shittypoops. Thank goodness those days are behind me.

My taste is wide and varied. I like The Beatles & the Stones, Yes & Genesis, R.E.M. (the IRS years), The Church, The Strokes etc etc etc I scour YouTube for new bands (bands that are new to me) and I always discover something I haven't heard before. But then again I am ten, twenty, forty years behind the times. I just discovered Future Sound of London yesterday, and I got told off how antiquated they are and how much better ambient music is today, but hey whatever ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I like what I heard so far. Finding a good song is easy enough. Finding a band that I love everything they do is a little harder, and the prospect sometimes seems unlikely. But sometimes I do, and it kinda happens unexpectedly after I put in a lot of gumshoe work.
