Hi from Bob from Perth

Hi everyone.

My name is Bob (surprise, surprise), I live in Perth (Western Australia) and I am a "baby boomer".

I've just discovered this forum after searching for a music forum that's a little more wide ranging than the ones I have been on, which have mostly been dedicated to one particular artist or band or to a particular genre.

My tastes in music are quite varied, I think, but there is also a lot of stuff that I don't appreciate at all, so it's quite hard to summarise. For many years I have been into what most people refer to as "progressive rock", but lately I have found myself gravitating back to a more folk sound, reminiscent of the folk-rock of the late 1960's. A recent discovery is Linda Perhacs, and this was a primary motivation for joining this board.
