Allo!

I am a human.
Precious time of mine is spent reading, writing and serving the whims of my feline overlord.
Obviously, I also have a love for the musical sphere of humanity.

The purpose of my pixels here is to broaden my somewhat paltry collection of audial delights.

Welcome to MB, A. Human. (If that's your real name.)
What kinds of music do you enjoy?

Thank you : )
[I do think that is my moniker, though many I meet seem to disagree)

Hmmmm......
I have a broad taste and I rarely know the specific genre of that which I like(requires extra studying and such)

Broad outline of favored artists might suffice in this regard[no specific order]:

Ayreon (Esp. electric castle)
Le Grand Quignol
Wardruna
Irfan
Burzum
UneXpect
Circus Contraption
The Moon and the Nightspirit
The Equinox ov the Gods
Bathory
The Tiger Lillies
Some of Sabaton, Kiaus and Amon Amarth

Recently I've grown to like mbira music from Zimbabwe.

Various classical, assorted metal and a variety of other choice pickings .

What do you enjoy?

Burzum is quite popular around here. I'm a big fan of Filosofem myself. Hvis lyset tar oss is pretty great as well.
I remember Unexpect from back when I was heavily into metal. Fun genre-bending stuff if I'm not mistaken.
The metal fans here are overall quite active, so you'll have a lot of possibilities for discussions and recommendations.

My tastes are very, very varied, with a clear tendency towards the so-called experimental stuff. Although I'm also into more "normal" genres like prog, jazz, classical, some metal, various types of world music and many, many more.

As long as that includes proverbially annihilating the Batlord when he starts gunning for him

I'd enjoy that.
But I think he'll be too happy to have someone new to rec metal to to do much gunning anyway.
