Just found this forum tonight. Jim or Phuquai (Like where the Phuquai) Thinking I will enjoy! I'm male 68 originally from Chicago. Been living (retired) in Mexico 18 yr's. Not much music (English) on the radio here. Internet, You Tube is my salvation. Some of my favorites. Humble Pie, King Crimson, Little Feat, Caned Heat, Chris Rea, Motor Head. Shame none are in the R&R hall of fame! And since I'm from Chicago the Blues. Enjoy finding sooooo much new music. Am I to Old to be adopted?

Assuming you listen to Ke$ha? No. It's never too late.

Finally, someone technically old enough to be my dad.

(I'm 55)

Humble Pie, Canned Heat, King Crimson, and Little Feat? Hell ya!

Thanks to all. I'm sure I'll enjoy being here! Hey Grindy, I think I saw your avatar on one of my "voyages" back in the 60's. King Crimson, Epitaph, lyrics as profound today as in '69. "The Batlord, I checked out Ke$ha, don't think she will be on my favorites list! Janszoon, Got to love Lemmy! Trollheart, Chris Rea, Still making music ill as he is. Chula Vista, that's the name of the neighborhood where I live! Getting old ain't for sissy's.

Welcome to MB phuqawi!
By seven years, you take the battered crown (for being the oldest guy on MB) from me. Congratulations!
Coincidentally, I´m also living in Mexico; not on the side of a mountain, but in the extremely flat Yucatán -came here about twenty-five years ago from England.
I also like Canned Heat, but don´t know much beyond the obvious hits. As I´m sure you´re discovering, there´s an awful lot of blues here too. Enjoy!
