P.S. Are we able to have signatures? Like the big Pics under the post? I am currently working on an avatar as well.

Yes, you can have a pic in your signature. You'll find all of that in the User PC link upper left. You'll find a list and can edit the Sig is there. I forget if there is a post minimum before you can have one. Some sites are like that. Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 500 by 100 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller). My pic is 499px by 100px. Not a fan of large pics in the signature. I used to belong to a site that had large pics in the sigs and I found that to be kinda spammy. It didn't look right, every thread was 99% pictures and 1% text.

Your general avatar size is restricted but you can get a larger one (up to 175 x 250 px) by asking here http://www.musicbanter.com/editors-p...-requests.html This is also where you go to change your avvy when you get bored with it or just want a change. Only mods can do this, if you want one larger than the standard allowed via your user CP.

Question ... do people ever put up their own music here and have people critique it? Would love to know and listen to some raw stuff.

Generally there are two places for posting where members post their own music.

Members Journal - Music Banter

Song Writing, Lyrics and Poetry - Music Banter

You're allowed to do that only after you've been here enough (usually a few months, but it's up to the mods). Generally speaking it's frowned upon for someone to do this (in fact, it's against the rules) too soon.
