New Here or.. Something.

Hi there.

I've been looking around for a place to talk about music and such. Happened to see this forum and decided to join. Feel free to chat me up. I'm 27, Male I live in New York with my partner or whatever you wanna call it. For all I care someone can define their orientation as Helicoptersexual as long as it makes them happy.

Oh I ramble on sometimes.

Some of my favorite bands/singers are as follows.

Janis Joplin, The Beatles, No Doubt, Lana Del Rey, Sky Ferreria, The Pretty Reckless, Seung Son Yeon, Kokia, Mumford and Sons, Ice Nine Kills, The Dead Kennedys, Taking Back Sunday, Queen, Ozzy.

Japanese techno, Latin hymn music, all sorts of stuff.

Anime, horror movies, music, video games, and food. That's about me in a nutshell.

Before I start going on and on about bull, nice to meet you all.

Thanks. I suppose the flashing borders on being annoying for some, but it works for me.

ChelseaDagger 11-30-2015 05:37 PM

Well aren't you a character. Hope you stick around.

Horror 11-30-2015 08:27 PM

Unless you're going to make me a human sacrifice I should.

That depends. Define "human sacrifice."

If you forced me to listen to the new Justin Bieber CD it would be a human sacrifice.

I tried to post a funny gif of someone screaming from the movie Scream but, I guess I'm not popular enough yet.

ChelseaDagger 12-01-2015 09:22 AM

Yeah, you'll do fine.

If this doesn't happen, there's gonna be some disappointment since you've built it up so much.

Honestly he doesn't have an awful voice but, he's an awful person or, so it seems. Either way it was just a joke. I don't personally like his music but, sadly he does have some musical prowess. Thanks to all the people that molded him anyway. Mediocre pop is mediocre. Nothing new.

Thanks for all the welcomes!

Mr. Charlie 12-01-2015 03:00 PM

Awful person? He's a teenager with too much money and attention, I think he's handling it pretty well all things considered.

Never said I personally think he is just said that's the way he's viewed. I don't know him so, I can't say but, either a lot of people are jealous or he's kind of out of control.

Welcome guy. Hope you'll enjoy your stay here.

We have The Torture Chamber thread for that.

Also a lot of the members on here are enjoying the new album, so it's not an impossibility you'll see it around here. Welcome, anyways! Dead Kennedys are cool, if you wanna talk punk, I'm your guy.

Oh that sounds fun nothing better than willingly torturing yourself.

Thanks for the welcome and that would be cool. Personally when it comes to punk music I mostly prefer to listen to it live. A lot of bands I've liked I can't even remember the name because, at a show it's not really the quality that matters rather than the moment and the message. That's just my opinion.

Thanks for the welcome.

Funny story. I knew a couple that had furrys for friends that they let play with their children at the park. Like, here I am with my dad and his girlfriend's grandson we pull up. There's a grown man dressed as a panda and a grown woman as something else. (I remember the panda because, I like pandas) anyway, yeah. One of the most disturbing things I think I've ever seen.

I guess the story isn't so much funny as it is creepy. They most likely bang in those costumes. Those poor children.

Nameless 12-02-2015 10:48 AM

Isn't it the truth? Not many people have been unfortunate enough to actually meet furries. I met this guy at a party who had one of those hats where like... the bill goes all the way around, the ones that were cool in the 90s, you know? He kept saying all kinds of weird stuff and was really tripping me out. About a week or so later I find out that he asked his granddad to give him a ride about 30 minutes away to what he said was a video store. It was indeed a video store. A fetish shop that specialized in furry porn. His grandfather walked in like "what". Dude tricked an old man into taking him to look at fursuits... they're weird!

Horror 12-02-2015 10:58 AM

I don't even know what to say to this. It would be better if he took his grandpa to a drug deal. My cousin did that once but, at least it wasn't a furry suit shop.

Daltavares 12-11-2015 10:08 AM

Just noticed you had an intro thread (I'm too much of a forum celebrity to bother with n00bs) and while I approve of the Beatles, the Pretty Reckless, the Dead Kennedys, and Queen, I am worried over Mumford and Sons.

I will allow for Ozzy, assuming I can educate you as to why his work with Black Sabbath makes his solo work irrelevant. My metal credentials are unparalleled, not only on this site, but in general, so if you choose to disregard my edumacations, then you are wrong.

I grew up on Ozzy, I saw him live in 2003 and he was amazing but, I'm open to listening to your reasoning. Though I do like Black Sabbath as well. Both my parents are/were metal heads. Ozzy, Judas Priest, Ratt, Van Halen, Aerosmith (I was actually named after Steven Tyler ) Not Steve though.
My older brother was way into punk and goth type of stuff also ICP. Pretty much anything that's odd school I enjoy is thanks to family. Then I got into pop and other things on my own.

So there's a little background. Thank you for taking time to talk to me oh great and majestic Batlord.

Pretty much, Ozzy on his own was an amusing goofball with some good songs, but just like Rob Zombie, he jumped the shark into self-parody when he went solo.

The first half of Sabbath's debut should show you what Ozzy's peak was, but if not... at least you like Manowar...

You're welcome. It's always good to keep in contact with the masses. Keeps me humble.

To understand my greatness, though, you should check out the greatest thread this forum has ever known...
