Slovenia taking over
 

Hiya all,
my name is Anže(22yo) and I am a member of a newly formed slovenian blues/rock band called Fool Nation. We have recently started posting some covers and plan a trip to the studio in January.

I have only ment to share a link of my band, becouse it is a part of my description. I am here to be an active member, but if posting a link that represents a big part of my life is prohibited, then I dunno, maybe you should just ban me...?

Since it's against the rules you most likely will get banned.
You should stick around for some time, before advertising your band.

We'd be more than happy to check your band out once we know you're not a spammer, but if we let every person who came here pushing their music on their first post get away with it, then we'd be choked with that ****. I myself have reviewed albums by members of this forum, but they were members who had been here long enough that I knew they weren't just going to up and leave after dropping a few links. Their music sucked, and I kind of wish they'd **** off anyway, but you can't win 'em all, ya know?

Well, I didn't mean to be disrespectful, but my band is a part of my description and I don't think I'm such a **** by not even sharing a link, but only planning to do so.

On forums i'm already a member of (mostly in my country) it is common to post your work in your description, so forgive me for any misunderstandings.

I understand, and you don't come across like one of those people, but it's just our policy, and I think you can understand why. We're a music discussion forum, but that doesn't mean we want to listen to every piece of music that someone shoves in our faces, any more than we want to listen to every piece of music that a non-member releases.

Nobody's telling you to **** off, just that you should give us time to make sure you're not a spammer. Trolls and spammers alike are tricksy hobbits after all.

Forgive me then for my irrational "behaviour", shall try to present myself better in the future : )
