Default E5I5O walks in, smiles and says... nice place you have here :)

Hello everyone. I'm William. I'm from Los Angeles and I've been playing music since I was fifteen. I've been looking for a site to post my music because I finally got a working computer again and the net to boot. Haven't had that in like five years because of pretty bad money troubles but that's over now, thankfully. Paid off my debt a few months ago. Thank goodness. And I'm going to do everything within my power to never let that happen again. I like John Mayer because he's one of the few people whom when he first came out wasn't a phony. He appeared genuine to me - not afraid to be himself. And plays an acoustic guitar. How many artists really play acoustic instruments nowadays. Not really that many. Because it forces the individual to show how good they really are. Whether it be a guitar or a piano, play an acoustic instrument first. Show me what you can really do. Not to take anything away from electric instruments. I have an Ibanez electric guitar. I love many different style of music. John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Lisa Loeb, Michelle Branch. I also love rock and metal. Rush, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath. I love musicians and bands with depth and substance. Actually, that's the way I love everything. I write my own songs and sing. I also have a band. We're called Target For Extinction. We play old school rock and metal, but when I play my acoustic guitar, I usually just stick to things that are either singer/song writer style or classical. I try to incorporate my songs into my band but it's a bit tough. When I play and sing it doesn't really give much for the drummer and bassist to do. My songs don't really require much other than my singing and my acoustic guitar. Anyway, great looking site. Seems like a lot of very interesting, intelligent and talented people post here. I'll post more songs later as I record them. Since I have the net again, I have access to my youtube account again.
