Hey everyone,

I am a 29-year-old dude from Southern California. I work full time as a Multimedia Developer, but I am also studying Network Engineering and writing novels and screenplays on the side. Music helps me get through the work day and inspires and drives my stories. I like to create playlists for specific writing projects that fit the era/mood/themes.

My favorite band is The Dear Hunter. I love independent music that has a strong emphasis on clever lyrics combined with unique, expertly crafted music. That's not to say that I don't like other genres. I also love funk, jazz, electronic, classical, world, etc. I can always find at least a couple songs in every genre that I like, but I tend to shy away from most pop music you will hear on the radio. I don't dislike a song after I hear it on the radio though. I'm not a full-on hipster. :-)
