I've had like twenty articles published in my day, and I can assure you they did not help me sound smrt.

Hey now I've written for newspapers and it only made me sound...sort of smart. Especially because I wrote sports columns :P

When I wrote for sports, my disinterest in what I was writing about was blatantly obvious. People just assumed that I was smart from my articles because I have a fancy name.
