Dia duit ann, Is é mo ainm Skyye!
Hey guys! My name is Skyye, hence my username (which is my actual name). I really enjoy music, it soothes my tormented soul, you could say. I found this forum in an attempt to enhance my musical tastes, and form a musical support platform for finding more of the obscure music I enjoy
I'm 26, and I work as a librarian at a University. I got my PhD in Kinesiology, specializing in martial arts (aikido and juujitsu) when I was 24. I enjoy rock music, mostly hard rock and alt rock, but I really enjoy traditional Chinese and Japanese music, as well as Celtic music. An example of my taste in Celtic music would be a number of the tracks from the Lord of the Dance soundtrack, specifically the female vocals for the songs "Wedding Day" and Suil la Ruin". I'm pureblood Irish, and I speak Gaelic, hence the title of this thread. I live in the USA. Nice meeting all of you |
