Default Blackened EVERYTHING

YEEAAH

New to this site, only wanted to have others to talk to/at/with that share similar interests, specifically metal. This is going to be a pretty lackluster intro post as I'm half delirious right now, so please excuse that.

Maybe I need a wing to crawl under, maybe I should've lurked more ...

Hello and thank you. I see you're from Arizona? That's my home state.

As far as bands, off the top of my head Setherial, Lantlos, The Secret, Wretched, Immortal Technique, Igorrr... Those are some that I've listened to recently.

Yeah I'm from Arizona. Good list of stuff there from what I know. I've recently gotten into Lantlos and Igorrr.

Oh yeah? That's cool ... Any time I've tried introducing people to either of those, I get shut down, hah. What albums by Lantlos have you had a chance to listen to yet?

Is there anyone else here into anything similar? I'm not at all familiar with this site or anyone on it, just found it last night and pulled the trigger.

Yeah, a lot of people here seem to listen to Igorrr. I discovered them through a friend myself. As far as Lantlos goes, I've only listened to Melting Sun. Gotta listen some more.

If you explore a bit you'll find a lot of good stuff to listen to through journals and such. Most people here listen to a wide range of music, so I'm sure you'll find similarities.

I'll do a bit more looking around here. I've been on a mission for the past week to find a little online spot where I can talk to others with similar musical tastes. Not just to find new music but maybe connect with others that have other interests akin to my own. Not getting much of a reception. Is it faux pas to intro oneself on a music message board?

Thanks for replying -- I have kind of, sort of participated at two other message boards and the one on which I actually made an introductory post I got zero feedback, that one incidentally is a music board. I'm female, but maybe I come across as a douche in my posts? :p

Yeah melting sun was a bit of a disappointment for me just because I really liked their previous material. Not saying it was bad, just unlike what I was hoping for. I'd say give the track 'Coma' from their album .neon a listen, that's my favorite. Very different from melting sun.

I'd recommend this place from my experience so far. Didn't get douche vibes, and I'll definitely give that a listen.
