Default Hi How are you doing?

My name is Curtis Pea. I'm from Homestead, FL. I'm male and I'm 25. The purpose for me to join here is to actually look for a girl friend. I thought the search would be a lot easier to find a girl that shares the same interest as me which is music. But I also had another purpose which is to find new friends I can talk on Skype.

Enough with all that now on to talking more about myself.
Through out the years I have experienced new things in my life. When I was little, I was interested in Baseball, but I lost interest in it when I started to suck at it. lol The type of music I was listening to was mainly hip-hop. I didn't really like the music my parents listened to. I still don't, but I became a little more appreciated about the type of music they grew up to. I was into video games throughout my whole life

I also lived in a great house in Miami at the time when my mom and dad were working. When my mom lost her job, we lost our house. We were forced to move to Homestead in order to move to a new place which was an apartment. I had to transfer to a different school too. The move wasn't all that bad I developed a lot of new friends more than I had before. However one day I did something stupid I showed them my house sort of by playing video games while having the door wide open.

The next day, me and my parents were robbed. We no longer felt safe living in this apartment anymore so we moved out of there to to place that had small houses for rent. We lived there for a long time. I think for 14 years. At this point my taste in music changed a bit I was getting into pop punk music at the time. Artists like MXPX and Yellowcard.

I still loved hip hop but I became less interested by the time I was in high school. I also developed new interest in anime particularly starting with Pokemon. But I soon developed to like other popular anime like Dragon Ball Z and Gundam series. In middle school I had made an great achievement by having outstanding attendances. however in high school became too tough for me.

I became very shy and rather embarrassed because my parents wouldn't allow me to take the bus. Even though I had no problem with them taking me there, I had a problem with my mom walking me to school. I felt embarrassed by it so much that I would make stupid excuses not to go to school. Like I'm couching blood or me feeling ill. I also had too many tardies, and too much absences in high school which resulted me to going to detention once.

I also majored in something that I had no interest at all in it just so I can make money in life because of it. Though isn't that the truth with a lot of people that have interest in music? Another thing that made high school tough for me was my speed in getting things done. I was always the last one to finish things in the classroom and because of this of this I would always have extra home work which sucked. So I switched to special classes which made things a lot easier on me. Later on I graduated high school.

Later in life I attended GED classes but had to drop out because my parents were unable to afford it anymore. My dad lost his Job finally after 21 consecutive years in working there. Everything from that point turned south.

We were forced to move to a hotel now knowing that we no longer can afford the rent, but even the hotel itself was too expensive to live in. We were desperately looking for a place to live and we finally found one thankfully and things for us have became better.

Now on to the music that I like. I pretty much can get into certain generes that I don't listen to often because of the artists that like so it varies from time to time. Like I don't listen to funk rock or any jazz fusion music but I do like this song from one of my favorite bands that usually do pop rock music. Lately I've been into pop punk and britpop influenced music as well as J-pop because I grew up with it during high school via anime.

I'm still exploring at the moment but my favorite bands for now are the pillows, Mega City Four, and The Beatles.
