Question New to life (audiophile incoming(sound gets me all hot))

Hey, I was just born four minutes ago! Welcome! Er.. More like, I'm just new to the forum. Not to music or life, but some would say I haven't learned a thing from my birth since I cry a lot, stuff things in my mouth, and enjoy tits on my face.
I'm an audiophile, which means I enjoy top quality sound reproduction, a trumpet player, which means I'm better than everyone, and an avid physically active kind of weirdo, which means I'm sexier than most dogs.
I like almost all kinds of music, aside from pop, country, most rap, and a few other things like death metal and freakish russian polka. Most of my favoritish stuff is Jazz, Prog. Rock, and Classical/Soundtracks.

Anywho, I best be leavin' this message before I end up talking about my life story or say something incriminating.

Big fat YO to all the cool cats and chilly dogs out there

Hello, welcome to the forum. Any specific bands or artists (besides Yes (I saw your profile)) that you like a lot?

Art Blakey, Miles, Monk, Coltrane, Esperanza Spalding, Billie Holiday, Mingus, Coldplay's earlier albums, Daniel Amos, John Mcloughlin, a gazillion others. I want to expand my prog. rock collection, as well as jazz and classical. Electronic music is something I'm figuring out on my own, and everything else shows up as it does, but I'll be getting more recommendations from my jazz teacher once the new semester starts up again, since he teaches jazz history as well.

I love pop, just in extreme moderation, since water is much better for hydration, and gatorade/powerade after sweating a lot.
But I kid, I just don't enjoy much pop due to the mastered sound they like, with really clean and textureless refinement that I absolutely despise. I like music to be rougher, with people behind it, and instruments that sound like they've got a person with a story coming through em. Just not my plate of ****.
