Default Salutations

Greetings all!
As a musician, music teacher, philosopher, free spirit, crucial commentator, dangerous digressor, lazy libertarian, in fact as an infinite fraction of the all embracing all infusing endlessly eternal universal soul, I have something to say. Especially about music, which is my primal passion, whether it be producing my own psycho pop, musing, enthusing, and generally losing myself in my catholic gamut of aural tastes, professionally pedagogically prodding my dizzy disciples, or effusing my verbal profusions over the world wide web.
Current favourites are System Of A Down- a kind of trenchant antithesis to Bush Jr Americana, and Furtwangler conducting Bruckner - fantastical flexibly subjective readings of sometimes staid scores, and Love's Forever Changes- plaintive psychedelic flow of consciousness mellifluous melodicism.
So,,,, do you feel that I have something to contribute to your fervent forum?

I feel like I just snorted a huge line of crystal meth.

Dude, slow down.

Name your top 3 fave artists. You have 5 seconds.

GO!

Nice trio!

What's your fave Clapton era? I think this is the best thing he ever put out.

Yeah, I love this- listen to that meaty, manly, muscular, majestic guitar right at the very start. Clapton is ROCK!! His regally golden nuanced touch, that most sensitively expressive intimate connection between finger and string, and his growling, soulful, broodingly intense vocal are in full bloom on "From The Cradle". From roaring rock regales to intimate acoustic ballads, Eric delivers his usual virtuosity with a supreme confidence and unforced understated style.
I also recommend "One More Car, One More Rider" which is a live album from a similar period, which also shows a sobered mature Clapton on fearsome form.
