Hello all! I'm a computer science student from England who is a big music fan and amateur producer/composer/person. I play bass as well as producing strange electronic music.

I have an [incredibly] eclectic taste in music; I like pretty much everything, but mainly rock and electronic. To give you a small idea, some of my favourite artists/groups are: Autechre, Squarepusher, Plaid, BoC, NIN, Modest Mouse, Frank Zappa, and The Beatles.

I came here really just for joining in discussions and finding new music. This seems to be the place to do that, so... yeah...

Are there any threads you think I should check out/be aware of? As I said, I'm always up for listening to new music so some kind of recommendation thread would be cool.
