Default Hello :)

Hey everyone! I'm new to the forums. I found this site just by searching music forums since I wanted a cool community to discuss everything, hahahaha. It looks like I found the right place! Anyways here is some stuff about me:

I have been singing for a long time, but only really got into music seriously recently because of some troubles lately in my life. Music really takes me away from these troubles, whether it is listening or singing. I'm told by many people at school that I have a good voice, but honestly in my recordings I really don't understand why they think that. I've also revelry started learning guitar. It's an old acoustic Dean, not sure on the exact model. It used to be my dads. I'm getting a Yamaha PAC112J or 112V for my birthday hopefully .

Anyways, I'd love some warm welcomes .

Yeah, I'm into hard and punk rock for the most part. I love Three Days Grace, Pierce the Veil, Korn, Skillet, Black Veil Brides, Avenged Sevenfold, System of a Down, Asking Alexandria, and the list goes on and on, haha.

I would never have expected SOAD or Avenged Sevenfold to be one of your favorite bands. That was not at all the vibe I got from that sentence. haha

Anyway, yeah I'm a huge SOAD fan, I only recently started listening to Korn, and I've never really gotten into Avenged Sevenfold, but I do like a few of their songs.

You have a favorite System song?

Pierce the Veil and Three Days Grace really help when I'm feeling down. Never too late by Three Days Grace is defintely the main .

Yeah, I'm an odd guy with my music choices based on mood XD.

Anyways, my favorite SOAD song is probably Toxicity.

I understand. I listen to a lot of death thrash but I also enjoy Vanessa Carlton occasionally.

A fine choice.

If you want to figure out where you should go first, this is a thread for newcomers, it's still a work in progress, but it has a lot of helpful tips if you're looking for a particular thread. http://www.musicbanter.com/announcem...w-members.html

Also here's the link for the System of a Down thread, it's not very active, but I still post in it occasionally. http://www.musicbanter.com/rock-meta...-down-143.html

Yes, there has been a lot of that lately, but there's still some very active music discussion... occasionally...in a few...limited areas.

It is just supposed to be read as "Tri" like like it'd say in triforce. I just used a ! instead of an i for decoration haha.
