Name's Emma, I'm 19, linguistics major at Reed College in Portland OR (will be a junior this fall) currently home in Pennsylvania for the summer and unemployed :/ I enjoy many types of music but mainly listen to stuff classified as "indie" -- My last.fm is nutella23, the overall charts will give you a pretty good idea of my favorite bands.
Bands I've seen live (just in chronological order, they've all been fantastic experiences): Muse, Passion Pit, Of Monsters and Men, The National, Noah and the Whale, of Montreal, Neutral Milk Hotel.

Hi Emma, I'm Phoenix, 18, Physics/Philosophy, and I'm into almost any genre if the particular song has the sort of lyrical-instrumental vibe I like. Mostly I just binge-listen to Nine Inch Nails, so, ya know, purposefully going insane?
