Aspiring Multi-Instrumentalist

New here (duh). I'm a high school student, and I started out playing bass guitar when I was seven. I didn't take it too seriously, then last August, I moved in with my grandmother. She has a piano (she used to teach it. Doesn't remember much anymore) that hasn't really been touched in twenty years, and I decided to take lessons. Soon after, I picked back up bass guitar. I'm now taking piano and bass at the local music shop while I self-teach acoustic/electric guitar.
My guitars:

Caroline, my baby Bronco Bass (Squire) (Yes, I name them. I don't know, just comes naturally. Got the habit from my teacher)

Artemis, my secondhand, eBay-bought Epiphone Junior Model.

Ellis, my Oscar Schmidt OG-1.

And on occasion, Gramps, my late grandfather's old Martin. It's really my aunt's, so I don't always have access to it.

In two years, I'm hoping to take up violin. Any other multi-instrumentalists out there?

Sadly I have no musical talent, but that's impressive!

Haha, it's a lot less impressive when you hear me play.

Welcome to MB! What kind of music are you into?

I played a lot of instruments in high school! Guitar, Tenor Sax, Keyboard, all percussion, I sung, etcetc. Do you want to be a music teacher or anything like that? Ypu seem to be off to a good start

Mostly rock and metal, with a healthy mixing of punk. I really like The Police, Pantera, The Offspring, and Green Day.

I'd really like to own a small record/music store and give lessons, but if that fails, I'd like to teach high school band.

That was my dream until I was in college. Snare drum was the only instrument in percussion that I needed to learn and I just wasn't willing. Anyway, welcome

Good on you! I haven't even got a decent grasp on a single instrument myself (but my boyfriend has had success with every instrument he's ever touched).
