Default Introducing...Troy White

Hello Musicbanterists...
My name is Troy, and I'm a music lover from Melbourne, Australia. At the uncomfortable age of 23 I teach guitar, bass and drums out of a local private music school called Mr. Music. I'm also a singer songwriter mainly writing on acoustic guitar, blues/funk/rock/soul. I listen to a lot of genres and weave in and out of them depending on who knows what.

Hopefully my experience and knowledge can be of use to people but mainly here to talk **** haha.

Hey there Troy! We're the same age!

Of course, I don't do anything nearly as ambitious as teaching instruments haha. What's some of your favorite bands, where can we expect to see you hangin out the most?

Welcome to MB Troy.

Hmmmm... a possible contender for the lead singer for my new band, Tighty Whitey and the Waist Band.

I've always loved Iron Maiden, but these days I'm listening to Allen Stone, Matt Corby. I'm into those crazy talented voices! Big Range good tones will catch me instantly.
Ill probably be roaming around different genres of music soul/funk and maybe some rock/metal. The odd day ill be interested in folk haha. Definitely going to be hitting up the instrument talk.
I literally just turned 24 today! haha don't know how proud I am to be admitting forum activity on my birthday but hey I'm having a nice lazy day at home

Hey no shame in that haha. Well I don't listen to much soul or funk... although I dig a lot of the songs I hear played... but maybe catch ya on the rock/metal threads some time! There's this great game we play called 'Metal Wars' where two albums are pitted against eachother then voted on which is better. Catch ya around, welcome again!
